Simulation

A cloned voice is cheap to make and hard to catch by ear. Which one is real?

Cloned voices have moved into payment fraud. This is a calm way to rehearse for that call before it is real.

Choose the voice you believe is genuine

Audio here is illustrative while real paired recordings are prepared. The point of the exercise stands either way.

Voice A

Voicemail from the managing director

Simulation · consented

Transcript. Hi, it's me. I'm about to walk into the board meeting, so I'll be quick. We need to release the payment to the new supplier today. The account details have changed, can you push it through on the ones I sent? I'll explain properly later.

Voice B

Voicemail from the managing director

Simulation · consented

Transcript. Hey, quick one before I lose signal. The supplier payment has to go out this afternoon, not tomorrow. Their bank details are different now, I've just sent the new ones across. Can you action it straight away? Thanks, you're a star.

A cloned voice or likeness is made from a person who has given consent, and never without it.

In a real scenario

The same pressure, played out end to end

The card exercise isolates the voice. A full simulation puts it in motion: a help desk call that leans on urgency and familiarity to steer someone towards an action they would normally pause on. Every run is labelled as a simulation.

What your team practises here is the habit that holds under pressure: verify a request to move money or change details through a separate, known channel before acting on it.

Rehearse the call that costs the most
